Public Butter

The Public Butter, is a artistic vintage store in downtown Toronto, located in the heart of Parkdale. It is absolutely heaven central for all you vintage lovers. They sell graphic tees, shoes, sunglasses, jewelry, jackets, jeans, shorts, dresses, and a lot more. Whatever you're looking for, they probably have it. If you're a Toronto-arian, you might've heard about the black market, the public butter is like it's fraternal twin. They both consist of  endless amounts of vintage items, but they each have something special. I am literally obsessed with this store, even when I don't have cash on me I go in anyways. They always have the nicest and coolest things. This is the epitome of serendipity.  One of the raddest vintage boutiques I've been to.
A very original name, no?
Just a sneak peek of what they have, stop by and you really won't regret it.
Scarfs and hats!
Bags for days!!

Here's the twitter account! Follow, and be notified of the sales they have :)

The statue of liberty handed down her crown

Didn't  you hear? the statue of liberty quit, and passed down her crown to me. I finally got them, I've been admiring them for so long, and now finally they're mine! You either hate them or you love them, it really is a great statement piece. If you're going to wear it, wear it with confidence. Work it ! I know, I'm going to get hell for wearing this, I've already been told it looks " halloween". And, it's true. However I've waited too long to get them, I'm not going to let anyone stop me from wearing them. Unless there's a dress code at my school that specially bands sharp hand pieces.. So my thoughts on  this head band so far is, it looks amazing. I got it from forever 21, and its one size fits all. A tad bit loose on my head, but that's alright. The one thing that kind of irks me about this headband is that the spikes are really big in comparison to other spiked headbands. I am absolutely in love with this, but it does give me the "statue of liberty" look. Can I handle the tiny remarks, I'm going to get from wearing it? I hope so.

breaking them in

Oh my goodness. When is the comfortable stage of my babies gonna kick in? They're giving me blisters, who  knew it would hurt so bad to wear something that looks so nice? No pain, no gain. aha, I've been getting a lot of compliments on these beauties.

Monday 8 October 2012

You know what I'm really sick and tired of worrying about? What other people might think. I'm afraid what I'll wear will be too weird, too different. But thinking about it now...so what? So what if people don't like what I'm wearing. So what, if its weird, or "too different", as long as I like it that's all that matters right? This is my senior year, and I'm sick and tired of feeling scared and worried about what other people's opinions. I'm going to wear what I like, and not give two cents about what other people think. I'm going to be me, and just me, and no body else.

My bad boys

I've been wanting them for a while now, and I finally got them! These bad boys are finally mine. Dr. Martens are a tad bit pricey, however they are worth the splurge. They can be a statement or casual shoe, they can dress down or add a bit of edge to any outfit! I got a size 7, and personally I feel they are true to size. If you're debating on getting these shoes, I think you should go for it. They are hands down the best pair of shoes I've ever owned. I have yet to break them in, but I've been reading about them and I heard they're crazy comfortable! I am so excited to incorporate these bad boys into my outfits. I'll have a review about them up in a few days! so stay tuned, my little readers.

-sincerely yours, Paige Turner.
p.s ( no my name is not Paige Turner( page turner get it?), it's more of an alter ego.)
